Mass on the Grass and Annual Parish Picnic | Sunday, May 26th at 10:30 am

Please join your St. Thomas' family for our Annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, May 26th following our 10:30 am worship service. Worship and lunch will be on the church lawn, so don't forget to bring a chair or blanket to sit on for the service. We'll provide Lee's Fried Chicken, and you'll provide the sides! Check out the list below to know what to bring for the picnic, we look forward to seeing you!

If your last name begins with.....
A - I: bring baked beans, potato salad, or pasta salad
J - R: bring vegetable, fruit, or salad
S - Z: bring dessert ​

Farewell, Travis! 
Please join us this Sunday, May 26th as we say good-bye to Travis Krickovic, our Bass Section Leader.  Travis has been with us for five years as a valued member of the choir and friend to all.  He has shared his amazing talents with the church by chanting the Great Litany and Exultant, singing solos, and conducting the Choral Eucharist last Spring.  During the pandemic he recorded music for the online services, and once we were meeting outside, he was one of three cantors to lead us in music.  Travis and his wife, Gaelyn, are moving to Winston-Salem, NC in June to pursue job opportunities.  Travis will be deeply missed!

 

Parish Office Closed Monday, May 27th
Our parish office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27th. We will reopen at 9 am on Tuesday the 28th.

Early Bird Shrine Mont Registration

Mark your calendars for the Summer Worship Schedule

Our summer worship schedule begins Memorial Day weekend. Starting May 26th, we will pause our Sunday morning formation offerings and evening Taizé services until the fall.

Sunday services at 8:30 & 10:30
Note: 10:30 services on fourth Sundays will include a children's sermon & a community birthday blessing.

Wednesday Morning Prayer @ 8:30
Mid-week Morning Prayer will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer.

 

Summer Altar Flowers 
There's a particular need for flower sponsors over the summer months, June-August. Flowers are $25/vase with two vases available per Sunday, and your special words and acknowledgement are notated in the worship bulletin. Click here to sign up, and thank you for helping to make our church beautiful.

Want to serve in worship this summer as a reader or acolyte or eucharistic minister?  Send Dale an email & let him know.  Training happily provided for any & all novices!

Donate Canned Tuna and Mayonnaise for May
Help support the Food Pantry by donating cans of tuna in water and jars of mayonnaise this month! When we receive enough donations of the same item, we can give everyone extra in their bag. We'd be especially grateful for pop-top cans and plastic jars, specifically. Thank you for your support!
