Youth @ St. Thomas
The St. Thomas youth group is open to all 6-12 graders, and all are encouraged to join! Christian Ed for youth takes place weekly on Sunday mornings, and fellowship takes place several times a month.
Our youth group is also very involved in Diocesan events, including PYM (Parish Youth Ministries), Shrine Mont Camps, the Diocesan Mission Trip, and more. We have also sent youth to Episcopal Youth Events (EYE), and a student from our youth group served as the delegate from our region at an Annual Convention.
At St. Thomas, our group hosts the annual Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner every year. When school is out, the group can always be found helping at our food pantry on Thursday afternoons. We offer Mission Quest with other youth groups each summer.
Fellowship opportunities include Top Golf, bowling, Kings Dominion, retreats at Shrine Mont, game nights, and more. In worship, our youth participate as readers, ushers, and acolytes.
