Since 1907 St. Thomas' has been a home for worship, service, and fellowship in Richmond. We are a place of simple hospitality, and seek to share our communal life with our church, our community, and those in need.

Mark your calendars for the next concert of the Mary Whittle Concert Series on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 7:00 pm! Hailed as a “Stand-out voice,” Margaret Woods has quickly established a diverse career of opera, new music, concert & crossover work. Her performances have brought her praise for her expressive and clear sound as well as her honest dramatic interpretations. Margaret will be joined by Melanie Kohn Day, piano, Roland Karnatz, clarinet, and Chase Peak, baritone. Please join us for a reception in the parish hall following the concert.

This concert is presented by St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church and the Mary Whittle Concert Series. Serve in Worship

We need readers, acolytes, ushers, and more every Sunday morning. Please take a look at your calendar and see when you can volunteer.  Dates are available through May, click here to sign up. Thank you!

Earth Day Children’s Worship Service | April 28th at 10:30 am

Join us on April 28th for a special family-friendly service in the parish hall.  This will have a more relaxed atmosphere than our usual worship, with children serving as ushers, readers, and acolytes.  Children will also help Dale compose the sermon in real time and take up the loose offering, all of which will be donated to the Children’s Ministry—so don’t forget your cash and/or checkbook!  Creation care will be the worship theme, reflected in our music, readings, and prayers.  (Listen for a Peter, Paul, & Mary tune, as well as a song from Godspell.)  Following the service, a hands-on activity will allow participants of all ages to engage with God’s creation.

Note: The 8:30 service on the 28th will follow Rite II with the day’s lectionary readings.

Save the date for the Taco Fiesta on May 4th!
Please join us for a Taco Fiesta Dinner beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday, May 4th in the Parish Hall to raise money for the Women of St. Thomas Scholarship Fund.  We will feature assorted Taco Fixings, Beverages and Dessert.  Come early and stay late, or come, grab food and take it home. Either way we'd love to see you.  And to be sure we have plenty of food for all, please complete this Taco Fiesta Dinner RSVP. If you are unable to access the form, or have other questions, please don't hesitate to contact Kate Parthemos. If you'd like to help with set up, providing food, serving, or clean up, click here to sign up!

Food Pantry Donation of the Month - Toilet paper

We all need toilet paper, but it can be a big expense as we see prices on everything go up! Please help our guests out by donating a pack of TP! Any size pack will do as we separate them out into 1-2 rolls per family & bag them up for distribution. Thanks for helping our guests have a sense of security and dignity by providing this essential item. Questions? Please contact Kristin Cummings. Many thanks from the Food Pantry Team!
