Welcome! Our Sunday School programs for children, youth, and adults traditionally mirror the school year and are held each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:15 am. Sunday school does not meet in the summer.
Children and Youth
The St. Thomas Prayer Room is a place for children to slow down their bodies and minds so they can feel God’s love and peace. Children will learn Bible Stories and come to their own conclusions about what the meaning is for themselves. The room is set up for children to choose whether they want to practice the sacraments of the Eucharist and Baptism, use meditative materials such as sand and water, retell a Bible story with characters, copy a Bible verse in calligraphy or many other thoughtfully planned activities. Teacher, Emma McFarlane, has been teaching at St. Thomas for ten years and has been working in elementary education for twenty. She loves to bring the joy of our Christian faith into the hands of children!
Middle and high school youth meet with our youth minister, Katie Cosby, and our rector, Herbert Jones.
Adult Sunday School
Join us in the Parish Hall from 9:30 to 10:15 each Sunday for spiritual reflection and study of the liturgy.
