Sunday Evenings at St. Thomas'

St. Thomas' invites you to our more casual Holy Eucharist services at 5:30 every Sunday.

Please see below for the schedule of services and descriptions, and see you there!

1st & 3rd Sundays - Roots Music Mass

This service includes music from the American Roots tradition, usually accompanied by instruments such as guitars and mandolins. Come as you are, bring a friend, and sing out loud!

2nd & 4th Sundays - Taizé Service

The 5:30 pm service on 2nd & 4th Sundays uses music from the Taizé tradition. The music emphasizes simple phrases, usually lines from Psalms or other pieces of Scripture, repeated and sometimes also sung in canon. Here's a great article from Richard Rohr about Finding Presence through Taizé music and chant. The service will include the Eucharist. Please take some time out from your busy summer schedule to join us for this quiet, peaceful and meditative  worship experience.

5th Sundays - Recovery Holy Eucharist

On each fifth Sunday, we will be offering a “12-step Eucharist” as our 5:30 “Come as
You Are” service. We welcome anyone to join us, whether they are involved in any way with the
recovery community or not. The service incorporates the twelve steps of recovery into the
liturgy and offers an opportunity to celebrate recovery and to offer prayers for those who need
or are seeking companionship and support on their journey. Hope to see you there!
