St. Thomas' Day School Staff
The teachers at St. Thomas Day School have formal training and/or years of experience working with young children. Teachers take first aid/CPR courses and continuing education courses. A criminal background check and training in the prevention of child sexual abuse is part of their condition for employment. Teachers also submit, annually, a physician's statement stating that they are free from any disability that would prevent them from teaching children.
Administrators
Kelly Kane is the Director of St. Thomas’ Day School and also teaches in the "Before Kindergarten" Class. She has been with the school since 1995 and this is her 19th year as Director.
Joan Bowles is the Assistant Director and a teacher in the "Before Kindergarten" class. She is in her 23rd year of teaching at St. Thomas’ Day School.
Teachers/Aides
Laura Harbison is a teacher in the "Intermediate" class.
Andrea Marcinkevicius (Mrs. M) is a teacher in "Beginners" class
Alyx Mikelaites is an aide/Enrichment teacher in the “Intermediate” class
Trina Pulliam is a teacher in the “Intermediate” class.
Ashley Braxton is a teacher in the Beginner's Class
Colleen Kane is a part-time aide
Ms. Danette is a part-time teacher that can be seen working in any of the classrooms. This is her first year at St. Thomas' and she is so excited to be a part of our school.
