Worship at St. Thomas

Worship is central to our common life and a source of joy and strength. We gather on Sunday as one community for public worship, providing a welcoming environment while offering the best of our gifts in music, word, and actions.

The foundation of Episcopal community can be found in our shared book of worship, the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. This foundation provides a rich framework of immense variety and stability. We strive to offer worship of depth and breadth that is accessible to everyone who comes.

In additon to regular Sunday worship there is a strong emphasis on interpreting the church year in fresh ways, particularily on special days on which important events in Jesus' life are honored.

Join us. You will be welcome.

If you would like to find ways to participate in and support worship at St. Thomas, please see our Service in Worship page.

Contemplative Candlelight Eucharist on Wednesday nights at 5:30

Join us for some calm, some incense, some candlelight, some bible study, and Holy Eucharist on Wednesday nights at 5:30pm.

All are welcome to this intimate service designed to be a refuge in the middle of the week.

Childcare is provided in the nursery.

Each week, we will use the upcoming Sunday's Gospel as our text for lectio divina--an ancient method of studying Scripture with the heart as well as the mind.

Come as you are; explore your journey with us.
