Make your Stimulus Initiative donation right away...

Hello all - we've heard from a couple people how once their checks came in they gave to the stimulus initiative and then something came up a day later which they knew they would have spent the money on.  Conversely, others have confided that they sat on the checks and the money was whittled away with other expensis.

All perfectly natural - no blame, no shame - but the lesson is get those donations in ASAP - we've collected nearly $3K from only 16 or so families. (! nice average donation mind you - many thanks!) - to make a huge impact we need to get a lot more people involved. 

No need to give with an SI envelope - just mail it in to the church (the address is on the bottom of the Web page) and note that the money is for the initiative in the memo line.
