Christian Stewardship
Vestry Stewardship Statement
God has blessed us with life, love, and the gift of his son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. At St. Thomas' we have been give a place to belong, to worship, to learn, and to serve, and to share our rich and varied gifts.
Stewardship is an opportunity for individual, family, and parish development by joyfully giving our time, talent, and treasure to do God's work through St. Thomas' and the world.
In response to our blessings, we commit to proportional giving contributing as much of our time, talent, and treasure as we honestly and joyfully can.
Creation Care: As Christians, our task is to join God in caring for Creation. We are called to relate to nature in ways that sustain and nourish life on our planet. The Creation Care Committee is dedicated to answering that call here at St. Thomas. The committee works to involve the entire congregation in caring for God's Creation, at church and elsewhere, through prayer and contemplation, education and action.
