What a Weekend!

St. Thomas' Annual Auction, postponed because of snow, was a resounding success last Saturday night with more than 259 tickets sold - a record.

Members, friends of St. Thomas' and neighbors congregated to celebrate the life and ministry of our church with great food and great music. Whether you were there to bid or to dance, to talk or to eat, it would have difficult to have had a bad time.

Rumor has it that there were some very interesting stars featured on the movie posters. Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Harrison Ford, Lucy Ball, Rhett Butler, and Austin Powers were spotted among the guests.

Victors departed with vacations, jewelry, furniture , art,  and even a scooter! Watch this space to see how the tremendous efforts of over seventy volunteers made this a happening event for everyone and find out how much was raised. Then check the web page for photographs and plan to attend in 2011.
