Northside RVS Food Pantry Partnership

The Food Pantry program is designed for those living in zip codes 23222 and 23227.  A valid form of ID, proof of address and proof of income needed.  This is a once a month program.  A client can only receive food from one of these three churches once a month. 

St. Thomas needs volunteers to help with their Food Pantry once a week. Here is our schedule. Your help is much appreciated.

Food Pantry Schedule & Needs . . .
Gleaning - Greatest need at present.
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday and Sunday at Food Lion, Azalea Brook Hill, 10:00 or 10:30 am. Takes about one hour.
11:00 AM Central VA Food Bank, Room 104 @ St. Thomas afterwards
Shelf Stocking in Room 104
Wednesday at your leisure 
Food Pantry Open
Thursday 10:00 to Noon
Set-up staff are needed 8:00 am - 10:30 am
Shoppers 10:00 - 12:30 (any time available during this period in half hour increments)
Food Pantry Closes
12:00 - 1:00 pm  - Break Down (many shoppers stay for this)
